Dubai Maritime City Authority Unveils Two New Marine Leisure Areas - Sem Sem International

The Dubai Maritime City Authority has recently permitted yachts to anchor off Burj Al Arab with the launch of two new maritime leisure areas off the coast of the Palm Jumeirah and the Dubai Canal.


The Burj Al Arab anchorage will be open from sunrise to sunset for paddle boarding, kayaking, jet skiing, wake boarding, and doughnut and banana boat riding. It will have 30 berths for short term anchorage for vessels up to 100 meters long.

The Jumana West anchorage, which opened in front of the Dubai Canal near Jumana Island, is designed for longer stays. It is a sheltered area perfectly suited to small and medium yachts with a view of the beautiful Dubai skyline.

Also called Bulgari Marina, it can accommodate five vessels up to 100 meters in length.
