UAE boat builder Gulf Craft has once again made a name for itself after recently disclosing details about Sehamia, hull number two in its popular flagship Majesty 155 series.

This superyacht, measuring 47.6 meters, was built from a reinforced composite hull and superstructure to an in-house design. It was delivered in March, but full details of its 550GT interior have been guarded until now.

Compared to hull number one, Escape, Sehamia comes with key customizations including the location of the owner’s cabin, which has been moved from the main deck to the upper deck. Moreover, hull number two features three more cabins, hence bringing the total accommodation to 18 guests and nine crewmembers.

The spirit of luxury is embodied in the interior décor which boasts Statuario White marble, curly maple veneer and semi-precious stones such as onyx, lapis, jasper, lazuli, chrysophase and amethyst. This is why company CEO Erwin Bamps has touted it as “a floating palace”.

The main deck exudes an inviting atmosphere with the open-plan saloon featuring four large armchairs and two sofas surrounding a marble coffee table. In the formal dining area, ten guests can enjoy a hearty meal around a circular table.

Other great features on board that will make your stay truly special are a spacious beach club back aft and an upper deck superyacht spa pool fed by a waterfall.

The owner, who is described as a yachting aficionado, has previously owned three Gulf Craft models. In a statement, he said that every yacht he has bought from the boat builder has been a joy to own.

He praised the build quality as outstanding and noted that clients are treated with the utmost consideration. “Working with the team to customize the Majesty 155 was a pleasure — I had different choices of luxurious materials and layout options to choose from.”

Sehamia is powered by a pair of 2,012hp MTU engines that enable for cruising at 14 knots, topping out at 17.5 knots.

Apart from this luxury yacht, other superyacht projects that are currently under Gulf Craft’s development, include the entry-level Majesty 100 series–hull number one Nahar was launched at the recently held Dubai International Boat Show and clients have ordered five more hulls since then.
